Missisquoi River Basin Association is proud to have Elliot Cluba hosting a Guided Nature Trek series throughout Montgomery and Enosburg. Each trek will feature specific themes related to the location. See below for each date, time, location, and theme.
Thursday October 2nd, 4:30-6:00. Cattail marsh in Enosburg park at Enosburg high school. Theme: River/marsh riparian zone, Exploring cattails as food and traditional uses.
Wednesday October 8th, 4:30-6:00. Trout River in Montgomery from Riverwalk Park. Theme: small river or brook zone/ exploring Fall medicinals.
Wednesday October 15th, 4:00-5:30. Enosburg Town Forest. Theme: aging beaver pond, occupied vs abandoned and the environment created from the history of the two.
